Michael's is a girl's best friend!

So, I'm generally not a very crafty person. I usually don't have time for elaborate crafts, but with a two year engagement, I thought 'why not?' DIY items are also more budget friendly, so that was even more incentive to get creative and try my hand at crafting. This page will be continually updated as more items are finished!

Flower Girl Basket

Picture
With a rustic-feeling wedding, I wanted a rustic-looking flower girl basket. So I searched all through Michael's a few times before finding a basket that was just the right size for my adorable little flower girl. I bought a few spools of ribbon and mini glue gun and a package of stick-on rhinestones to jazz up this rather boring basket. This is the end result.

Basket: $4.99
Ribbon: $1.00 (for two spools)
Rhinestone: $3.99 (for a package of 40)

Total: $9.98

Photo Sharing Cards

Picture
I know most people now have Facebook and like to post wedding pictures on there. But I thought making a photo sharing website and allowing guests to upload their photos would be a great way to be able to view all of the photos of our big day at one time. These cards will be placed on the tables at the reception, and it gives people access to the site we made. I will probably order these from Vistaprint, too. As of right now, they are not yet ordered.

Design: FREE! (I made it!)
Anticipated cost: $5.67 (shipping on 250 free business cards from Vistaprint)
